Noryn Aziz at Alexis

Last saturday was suppose to be at Alexis to see Noryn Aziz but end up watching X men 3 for soem reason or the other. So on Sunday nite i made a point that MUST see her perfom after reading some rave review on her performance. Rushing to get there in time at 10.30pm along Federal Highway...alas! was caught in a traffic jam.Its 10.00pm and it was still jam in KL can you imagine that. After making a few detour here and there reached Alexis 11.05pm.Not bad huh for someone who live in Kuala Kangsar driving in KL.

Arrived Alexis and it was packed to the brim....well mainly diners with friends whilst i was alone. Anyway, throughout the performance i was standing by the bar, banging elbows and body with the waiters coz that where they get their orders to diners.But they were ok....did not bother me at all.As a matter of fact very pleasdant and the Manager, she is so cool.

Back to Noryn, she sang well. I personally think she sang well in her in Malay compositions. But the English number i have to reserve my comment.You see sometime we associate certain songs with the original.So when someone else sings the brain does not compute well.....you know what i mean.

Overall, she is a talented singer and a good entertainer, mixed well with the crowd. I will certainly will buy her debut cd and will follow her career.Keep it up Noryn. Great show.
